Prioritizing the Potential Smartification Measures by Using an Integrated Decision Support System with Sustainable Development Goals (a Case Study in Southern Italy)

With the increasing population of cities, expanding roads as one essential urban infrastructures is a necessary task; therefore, adverse effects such increased fuel consumption, pollution, noise, and road accidents are inevitable. One most efficient ways to mitigate congestion-related introduce effective intelligent transportation systems (ITS), using advanced technologies mobile communication protocols make smarter reduce negative impacts improvement in consumption reduction accidents, which leads improving quality life. Smart might play growing role improved safety networks. This study aims evaluate rank potential smartification measures for network Calabria, southern Italy, with sustainable development goals. For this purpose, some were selected. Experts field consulted an procedure: four criteria considered evaluating these measures. The Integrated fuzzy decision support system (FDSS), namely Delphi analytic hierarchy process (FDAHP) technique order performance by similarity ideal solution (FTOPSIS) used ranking results demonstrated that repetition signals vehicle has highest rank, photovoltaic spread along axis lowest use case study.
